Incorporated as a not for profit company in 1994, BHN/VT was created and launched by Vermont’s community mental health centers to design and manage a behavioral health delivery system. Its mission is to provide statewide leadership for a consistently high quality behavioral health network.
When issues of care, quality, resource utilization, or system changes that impact the state’s capacity for delivering mental health and substance abuse services to the population occur, BHN provides an instant infrastructure of resources. Creating effective collaborative partnerships, the network ultimately strives to facilitate the best possible behavioral health care for all Vermonters.
